Garden Consultations
This service is aimed at empowering and educating the homeowner on how to start establishing a food garden!

It's a taster into designing an efficient system layout that's going to flow in your space. Whether you're just needing someone to bounce ideas off, or haven't a clue where to start, we can work with you to create a rough garden sketch and notes on what goes where and why. At the end of a consult you can expect to have a good idea of what to prioritise first and how to go about doing it.

Consultation cost is $290 Plus GST.
This allows us to spend 2 focused hours on your project, half of which we spend with you onsite and the other half we use to create a rough garden sketch and notes that will be emailed to you by the end of the day.
*For more complex situations, or if you simply wish to dive a little deeper into detail, extra consultation is $120/hr +GST.

*For those of you outside of the greater Hobart area we charge a $60/hr travel fee to get to and from your site.
Edible landscape construction and project management
Creating beautiful edible living landscapes is our speciality & we love it!
With a strong commitment to supporting local sustainable industry we build our landscapes using high quality, upcycled and salvaged materials. We are passionate about the creation of living spaces that inspire a nourishing ongoing relationship between the land and its caretakers.

Need an extra hand in the garden?
This service is to support the grower through those phases when there’s a little more to do than time available. Like when spring hits and the weeds reign or it’s pruning time and the garden ate your secateurs. The Green Thumbs will come and help out in your garden with a diverse range of jobs and keep you on track during every season. Green Thumbs are available for one off visits or as an ongoing regular garden maintenance service.

Cost is $140/hr plus GST
This gets you two GreenThumbs with all the gear & expertise to get the job done!
